Years ago, my niece was one of the first few recipients of a Petit Post Collection. Although, at the time it wasn't called Petit Post and I didn't yet know that these little collections of happiness were a blossoming business-to-be for me but nevertheless she was born and before we made the trek to go meet her for the first time, we excitedly shipped a little stack of suitcases straight to her door across the country, packed with cute outfits, a fuzzy blanket, books and a little fuzzy bunny with sweet a pink bow.

Fast forward a few years and both our niece and nephew were part of our wedding day as the ring barer and flower girl. Of all the inexplicable joy and happiness that I experienced on our wedding day, seeing our niece with the well loved bunny that we had given her years earlier, in another country, on a beach, at our wedding was just a cherry on top of the best day ever. (I'd like to give an extra shout-out to our amazing photographer who read my mind and captured so many important moments of our day, just like this!)
At the core of it, I believe that giving gifts should be fun. At Petit Post we try our hardest to make is as simple as can be so that joy & fun is the main part that you get to experience. But what's even more fun than the instant gratification of sending a package full of happiness to someone, is seeing how well loved the items inside can be.
Sometimes that doesn't happen right away and maybe you'll never even know about it, but we would like to think we do a darn good job of filling our collections with those items that are loved long after the gift has been delivered.
