What’s your focus in 2019?

We are just a little over a full week into 2019 and I don’t know about you, but so far so great! To me, January can often seem like the longest month of the year (no offense January, I do love you) but after all of the hustle and bustle of the holidays January has such a slow tempo. (I should mention that my holiday season starts in October with my birthday followed by my favorite holiday, Halloween, and doesn’t end until New Year’s Day - what can I say, it's a great 3 months! haha).

As fresh and new beginning-ie as January is suppose to be, it’s easy for me to get sucked into January’s slow pace and forget about all of the millions of things I could be accomplishing during this dreary winter month. Per usual the end of 2018 had me thinking about my goals for 2019 and it seemed to be a bit daunting. While 2018 was a difficult year for many on a large scale, for me it was fantastic. I got married, launched a business, traveled, reclaimed my personal life and shifted my career focus. How on earth 2019 is going to top that I’m not sure, but I'm beyond excited to find out! So rather than setting bigger crazier goals, this year I want to make a “simple” change that I can apply to many aspects of my life which will hopefully have a big impact overall. It’s all about working smarter not harder, right?
I want to be prompt.
I want to promptly pop out of bed and knock out my workout in the mornings. I want to be prompt about returning phone calls and responding to texts from friends and family. I want to be prompt about putting my laundry from the dryer into my closet (you don't know how hard this is going to be). I want to promptly reorganize my spice rack when they all inevitably tumble out as I grabbed the one in the back. I want to be prompt about tackling an idea for Petit Post as it pops into my head. You name it I want to apply a level of promptness to all areas of my life.
When I stopped to think about this, the entire concept of Petit Post was designed to help others be prompt. I know first hand how long it used to take me to go shopping for, put together and pop a gift in the mail for a friend or family member that had just received a new little bundle of joy in their life. It was always one of those nagging feelings that shouldn't have felt anything other than fun! With Petit Post I aim to fix that dilemma for others in the most simple way possible and keep it 100% fun. Petit Post helps others be prompt about celebrating with friends and family, so why not add a little promptness to my own life on a daily basis!
No matter what your focus for 2019 is I hope you achieve it, and if adding a bit of promptness to your own life sound useful, let Petit Post help- we promise we'll provide you with awesome and thoughtful gifting options well into the new year!
As for my own goal of promptness, wish me luck!
